South Coast: Must Go to Mogo

On our recent South Coast holiday, we took a day trip to Mogo.

It was only about 20 minutes drive from our holiday house, and oh sooo pretty.

Such a super cute tiny historic country town full of bric-a-brac shops, home made ice creamery, the most fabulous cafe …

oh and a Zoo.

Mogo

Yup, there is a Zoo at Mogo. And guess what? It’s GREAT.

We saw the big cats up REALLY close, fed deer, saw the giraffe’s being fed… and The Preschooler had her first pony ride.

What’s not to LOVE?! Next time we plan on making a whole day of it.

In fact I could spend an entire day exploring the treasure filled stores of Mogo, to pretend furnish the fantasy holiday home I am now dreaming of.

Or perhaps I’ll just sit under the enormous willow tree at Tyler’s Pantry enjoying their wonderful coffee and spectacular Croque Monsieur. In fact their whole menu looked so delicious I’d make the 4 hour journey from Sydney just to eat there.

So coming back again for some Mogo magic.
